That really is an interesting colour. It will be exciting to see the breeding results from him. :)
How about the other babies from this litter? Were they all "normal"?
Which colour does my hamster has?
it comes from the nom spot parent when a "dalmatier" nominant spot then it is short for dom. spot nom. spotLykke skrev:DS - like in dominant spot? where did that come from? you didn't mention that in the parents? (or am I completely misunderstanding something here?)Pravandi skrev:Yes all normal  ; black, yellow black and black DS.
Then I think I have to wait till his new owner is gone breed with him.

Hi ,
well colour of this hamster should be Yellow Black (aaToY). Normally, Yellow Black hamster looks like just Yellow in age of few weeks, then it dramatically changes by occuring these "black shadings" on face and sides and back.
So that is just normal.
But those black spots on back from baby are not normal. I would say it is mosaic case: it happens that some body cells don't take both parts of colour mutations e.g. not both aaToY, so it happens that they are just aa without ToY. It seems to be your case.
Of course it could always be new mutation but I think this is more possible.
